In memory of...

I sold this piece today to a woman in Oklahoma. She wrote, " I have been looking for that special gift to give to my sister. I have terminal cancer and wanted to give her something special to remember me by. Looking forward to receiving this in the mail..."

I am honored and so deeply touched.

Spot Prawn Festival in Cowichan Bay

My first outdoor local show this year. The Spot Prawn Festival in Cowichan Bay. It rained all day but in spite of it 3000 people came from everywhere to visit and take part in the festivities. The music was good, the food was great and the company was fantastic. My manager ( my sister from another mother) made the day so much fun, she explained to everyone that all my jewelry was ' upcycled ' and had a little piece of history, she carefully explained that all the ear wires that I handcraft were made from sterling silver wire. She smiled, danced and made me laugh.

Thank you Steph xo

A sweet little lady gave me her vintage silver that were wedding gifts from a time long ago. Now, I have never met or seen her but what lady who lives in a cold place like Calgary doesn't own a favorite sweater or scarf that could be embellished with a vintage pin made with love from her

special collection of silver.

Thank you Vera,

Quilts and buttons

I sold 4 handcrafted heart shaped buttons to a lovely customer on Etsy. She took the time to send me a photo of her wonderful wall hanging that she encorporated cross stitch and quilting and embellished it with my copper buttons. How pretty.

Whisper

I had the privilege of working with Whisper's tail hair to create this horse hair bracelet. Whisper has now passed.
He was very special to my friend and I wanted to create a special piece to pay tribute to this beautiful animal. As I handled his hair I couldn't help but think of the bond that they must have shared and the emptiness that she must feel without him.
Hopefully when she wears this bracelet she can have some comfort and feel close to him.
Enjoy Lynn,
