Last Christmas Fair

I had my last Christmas Fair on Sunday Dec.16th. It was held on a small farm in Glenora. I was invited to participate and I was glad that I did.

Visit their web site to learn more @ www.glenorafarm.org

I look forward to some well needed rest and time to make new creations that have been spinning around in my head.

Merry Christmas to all, be kind and patient with each other.

New Studio

I am getting ready to move into my new studio. I have spent the day bringing box loads of silver, copper and brass treasures down from the Treehouse Studio.( I have been up and down those stairs more times than I care to mention, oh well it is my stair climber exercises for the day...) My lovely husband spent last Sat. finishing the supply area of the studio into a usable space for me to store all these wonderful pieces. I
want to extend a special thank you to all my friends and customers who have given me mixed metal serving platters, dishes and bowls to add to my ever growing collection. A very special thank you to my parents who have spent every weekend rummaging through their local garage sales, church bazares and estate sales to find just the right forgotten treasure for me to upcycle. they have worked tirelessly to pack and ship box after box out west from Montreal. Love you all xo

Honeysuckle Rib Basket

Here is the product of a workshop I took at the Coast Collective in Victoria with Joan Carrigan. Apparently it is common to chose colors that one is wearing and I was wearing black capris and a grey top. Thanks for looking, Mixed Metal Mimi xo

A special man

My friend lost his father to leukemia one year ago. I asked if I could have some of his t-shirts so that I could create a quilt for his mom. I made 2 quilts and 7 bracelets. I was so fortunate to have known him, he was very special and will never be forgotten. Miss you Jim xo
